2026-2027
Welcome to Our School Community Council
At River's Edge School, we believe meaningful partnerships between families, educators, and our community are essential to helping students reach their full potential.
Our School Community Council (SCC) brings parents, guardians, teachers, and school administration together to support school improvement, promote academic achievement, and help guide the responsible use of School LAND Trust funds.
As a specialized school serving students with significant emotional, social, and behavioral needs, River's Edge values the unique perspectives and experiences of our families. These partnerships help us strengthen educational opportunities, improve student outcomes, and create a school community where every student is supported.
We welcome and encourage the involvement of all River's Edge families and community members.

School LAND Trust Program
The Utah School LAND Trust Program provides annual funding to Utah public schools to support and improve student academic achievement. Funding comes from distributions associated with Utah's permanent State School Fund, supported by revenue generated from state trust lands and fund investments.
Each school's School Community Council works collaboratively with school administration to identify academic priorities and develop a plan for using these funds to improve student learning. At River’s Edge School, our academic improvement efforts emphasize individualized instruction, meaningful academic progress, high-quality instructional practices, and supports that increase students' access to learning.
School LAND Trust Funding (2026-2027)
- Revised 2026-2027 Allocation: $6,004.28
- Existing Approved Allocation: $3,370.40
- Following an adjustment to the school's allocation, an additional $2,633.88 is available for consideration.
- The School Community Council will review the revised allocation and consider any necessary amendments to ensure funding continues to support measurable academic improvement.
